Conditions for renting a car from TRD Rent a Car
TRD Rent a Car is a car rental company that offers a wide range of cars for rent.
After booking the car, you will be contacted by a representative from TRD Rent a Car via phone/email or Whatsapp to confirm the availability of the chosen car. Please note that submitting a reservation request does not constitute a definitive confirmation of the rental.
GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS The rental fee or the rental deposit is paid in advance either upon reservation confirmation or upon vehicle pick-up. The minimum rental period is one (1) day.
During extremely busy periods when the demand for car rental is high, TRD Rent a Car may apply an additional rental fee. This fee aims to reflect the increased costs and demands during those periods.
An important aspect of renting a car is the customer's obligation to return the car in the same condition as it was received. This involves complying with specific standards and conditions. Here is more information about the obligation to return the car:
Cleanliness and condition: The customer is responsible for returning the car in a clean and well-maintained condition. This means that the car should be washed and cleaned both inside and outside. It should also be free from excessive dirt, stains, or significant damage. It is important for the customer to pay attention to details and check for any personal belongings left in the car before returning it.
Fuel: The car must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up or according to the agreement with the car rental company. Usually, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the fuel level is adequate; otherwise, an additional refueling fee may be charged.
Documents and accessories: The customer must return the car accompanied by all the documents and accessories provided at the time of pick-up. This includes the car keys, rental documents, and any other equipment or accessories provided by the company.
Return time and location: The vehicle must be returned within the specified time frame stated in the rental contract and at the designated location. It is important for the customer to adhere to the return deadline to avoid penalties or additional fees.
Return inspection: Upon returning the vehicle, it will be inspected by the car rental company's staff to check its condition, fuel level, and any damages or defects. Any significant damage found during the inspection may result in repair or replacement charges.
Contact: If the customer has any questions or uncertainties regarding the obligation to return the car in proper condition, it is recommended to contact the car rental company for assistance and further clarification.
DEPOSIT AND INSURANCE The deposit represents a sum of money blocked on the customer's credit card for the duration of the rental and is intended to cover any damages, losses, or other costs associated with the rental. The deposit amount may vary based on factors such as the type and model of the car, and the rental duration.
In general, the deposit amount can range from 250 to 1800 EUR or it may be expressed in another currency (RON, etc.).
It should be noted that the deposit amount is blocked on the credit card and is not actually withdrawn from the customer's account, except in cases where damages or other rental-related costs occur. After the car is returned in satisfactory condition, the deposit amount will be unblocked and returned to the customer.
If the rented car is returned with damages or missing accessories, the rental deposit may be partially or fully retained.
